Yokohama fender is innovated in Japan YOKOHAMA rubber company in 1958. It is also called pneumatic fender, pneumatic rubber fender, floating rubber fender. It provides soft approach in ship to ship and ship to dock berthing operation.
Over 60 years` development, Yokohama fender is accepted widely in the world. ISO17357-1:2014 high pressure of floating pneumatic rubber fender is seen as the only standard to specific material, performance and dimensions of floating pneumatic fenders to prevent variety of originally designed products with low quality had been introduced into the market.
All fender provided by whale fender is ISO17357 approved.
